November marks the beginning of 紅葉（こうよう – Kōyō) or what they called AUTUMN FOLIAGE in English.
During springtime, it is the Cherry Blossoms or Sakura season that is famous, and while during Autumn, it is the Autumn Foliage season.

🍁Korankei → Located in Toyota City. It is one of the best-known spots in the Chubu area. There are over 4,000 leaves and 11 kinds of trees that create a dynamic and wonderful contrast to the scene.
🍁Gero Onsen → Located in Gifu, Mie. It is chosen as one of the three famous hot springs in Japan. The place also offers a superb view of autumn leaves. You can relax at a footbath while viewing the autumn leaves.
🍁Akameshijuhachi Waterfalls → Located in Mie. You can go hiking here while enjoying the panoramic view of the red-tinged mountain range in Autumn. A must visit if you are a mountain climber and a ninja lover!

🍁Tokugawa Garden → Located in Nagoya. The garden area is also popular for viewing autumn leaves. It also has a Cafe in the afternoon and a bar at night. You can enjoy an elegant view of beautiful Autumn leaves.
