Last Thursday, Tokyo reports 534 new coronavirus cases as the city raised its alert to the highest level.

This led to the creation of another rule in the city. Remember the first rule that they created?

Avoid the 3C’s

Confined and enclosed spaces

Crowded places

密接 Close-contact settings

The three Cs is Japan’s message to the Japanese people on how to protect themselves from COVID-19.

But since last week, the coronavirus cases in Tokyo were soaring, that they created a new one called:

5つの小(いつつのこ)・The 5 “ko’s” the kanji ko, meaning small or short

Meeting in small groups (limited to four)

Quickly leaving after eating

小声・Speaking in a small (or low) voice

Using small plates to avoid sharing chopsticks or glasses

Keeping a mask on in between eating or drinking

The nationwide coronavirus cases kept on spiking now, especially in the populated city of Tokyo and Hokkaido.

Experts are also now alarmed because the year-end season parties are also coming.

While the people of Nagoya are feeling safe because of the low number of coronavirus cases they have compared to Tokyo.

As, what Governor Keiko said last day, “Your cooperation determines our fate,” and “The key is not to have serious cases and that’s the red line.”

Individual cooperation determines the fate of our country and countrymen with regards to coronavirus. The key here is not to have a rising case in the upcoming days.

Feel safe because we make sure we practice the 3C’s at
