①→ white lie (悪意のないウソ)

EX①→ He told a white lie to protect her. (彼は彼女を守るために悪意のないウソをついた.)

 

②→ white as a sheet (恐怖で血の気が引く)

EX②→ She went as white as a sheet with fear. (彼女の顔は恐怖で血の気が引いた.)
